Putting the “Mobile” in “Automobiles”
“Visa is teaming up with Honda on new developments that will allow motorists to pay for gas, or a space in a parking garage, or even a pizza, without swiping a credit card or handing over cash. The efforts are taking the form of apps that motorists can access through their car’s dashboard, which will use Visa Token Service and Visa Checkout to process payments.”
So begins a recent article published on The Boston Globe‘s website about a concept app that Visa unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday. In addition to a deal with Pizza Hut that would allow for paying for some hot ‘za from the car, “Fuel App Concept” can help drivers find and pay for gas and “ParkWhiz” can do the same with parking.
At Honda East, located at 529 Ohio Pike in Cincinnati, we know it’s hard to wait. While you bide your time until mobile pizza payments, come check out our new Honda inventory and see what you think.
