Honda Enjoys Strong May Sales Performance

Earlier this month, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. reported that 134,475 Honda vehicles were sold during the month of May for an increase of 0.7 percent over May 2016 sales results. The month’s performance was driven by truck sales, which were up 5.6 percent on 63,650 vehicles sold.

The Honda CR-V exceeded 32,000 vehicles sold in the month, posting a 9.6 percent gain, while the Honda Accord and Honda Civic models each sold more than 31,000 vehicles. The Honda HR-V set a new all-time monthly sales record in May, selling 9,533 vehicles for a stellar improvement of 29 percent compared to last May.
