What the Critics Say
2019 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid Features
Plug-In Hybrid Efficiency – Get the Best of Both Worlds
At home or at a dedicated charging station, the Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid takes just 2.5 hours to fully charge using a 240V charger or 12 with a 120V charger. From there, you can head out in style using pure electricity with a 47-mile all-electric range rating and zero emissions. A 340-mile combined range rating and a 110-mile combined MPGe range rating for the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid means that you can say goodbye to range anxiety.
Normal, ECON, and Sport drive mode settings allow you to personalize your drive to suit your preferences. HV mode optimizes charging and can regenerate up to 50% of the all-electric range. Deceleration Selectors offer four intensity levels to customize the regenerative braking which helps charge the hybrid battery. Access to HOV-eligible lanes along with eligibility for a $7,500 federal tax credit are only a few ownership benefits of the Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid.
Not only is the dynamic styling of the Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid eye-catching — it’s aerodynamically sculpted to achieve superior efficiency. A naturally-inspired body shape helps streamline airflow across the sides, over the top, and below the vehicle for added refinement and comfort as you dive. The standard 18-inch alloy wheels are sculpted specifically to improve brake cooling while specialized tires help optimize efficiency. A rear tire cover and air curtain duct combine to minimize air turbulence and allow the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid to slice through the air. Full LED headlights and taillights help provide exceptional visibility.
With spacious seating for up to five and plant-derived bio-fabrics and ultra-suede created through recycling technology, the Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid features an impressive interior. Personalize your comfort independently with available Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Hondalink® Climate Pre-Conditioning, and Heated Front Seats. 60/40 split-folding rear seats, smart storage pockets, and 15.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity proves that the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid is ready for your next adventure.
Use the Hondalink® App to remotely set your cabin temperature, check battery charge status, and view your estimated driving range. Touch, pinch and swipe your way through music on the standard 8-Inch Display Audio Touch-Screen. With live search functionality and 3D map renderings, the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System will help you arrive at your destination with confidence. The standard Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistive safety technologies includes Road Departure Mitigation, Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow.

**Owning a Clarity Plug-In Hybrid comes with many benefits. Owners are eligible for up to a $7,500 tax credit through federal tax credit programs, and several states and localities provide further benefits like purchase and lease incentives, charger rebates, and free parking. Make sure to check with a tax or financial advisor to confirm your eligibility for these benefits and learn more about available rebates in your state. State rebates and eligibility for HOV access and special parking depend on your state and local rules. State and local rules may change in the future to limit rebates and/or eligibility. For California residents, the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) sticker can be applied for through the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Once installed, you may use designated HOV lanes, even if you’re driving alone. Stickers valid through January 1, 2022.
